Our Core Commitments
To ensure the safety of our youth players, our committee, coaches and volunteers promise to:.
1. Implement Safer Recruitment: We follow The FA Safer Recruiment guidelines. Every adult coach, manager and regular volunteer must clear an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before working with children.
2. Promote the Respect Codes: We uphold the standards of England Football's Respect Campaign. Negative behaviour, bullying, discrimination or abusive language from players, coaches or parents will not be tolerated.
3. Practice Digital Safety: We strictly apply The FA Digital Communications Guidance. Coaches and volunteers are prohibited from contacting players under 18 directly via personal social media or one-to-one text messaging. All team communications (e.g. via Whatsapp or emails) must include parents or guardians.
4. Adhere to Photography Rules: No photographs or videos of our youth players may be taken or posted online without explicit written parental consent.
